Fox News host Eric Bolling is in discussions with President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team about taking a role in the Commerce Department, Politico reported Saturday.
The two sides are still discussing possible roles, and no position has been offered yet, two sources told the newspaper.
“At this time I can't confirm anything,” Bolling said. "I'm sure you understand.”
Bolling is a former commodities trader and was a financial analyst for CNBC before moving to Fox in 2008.
is reportedly leaning toward Republican National Committee finance
chair Lew Eisenberg to head up the Commerce Department. He’s also
believed to be considering billionaire investor Wilbur Ross.
