Report: Jared Kushner Wanted Trump to Have a Secret Line of Communication With Kremlin,Video

Correction: Previously, this story inaccurately stated Kushner met with the Russian Ambassador before Trump won the White House. That was incorrect. The story has been updated.
On Thursday, it was reported that Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump's husband and an adviser to President Donald Trump, was being looked into as part of the Russia investigation by the FBI.
Kushner had a meeting with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak prior to Trump being sworn in as Commander-in-Chief. It's unclear what Kislyak and Kushner discussed, but a new report from the Washington Post, citing U.S. intelligence officials is making some eyebrow-raising claims.
The Hill reported that:
Jared Kushner reportedly talked with a top Russian official in early December about establishing a private communications channel between President Trump's transition team and the Kremlin.
