Julian Assange: I Advised Trump Jr. To Release The Emails ...
The "bombshelled"-out, increasingly convoluted story of "Donald Trump Jr. Colluded With The Russians (Or At Least Thought He Was)" added yet another headline-grabbing wrinkle on Tuesday: WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange now claims that he personally advised Donald Trump Jr. to release the emails at the center of the firestorm over the Russian lawyer scandal.
Our friends over at Twitchy highlighted Assange's claim, which came in the form of a series of tweets on Tuesday.
"Contacted Trump Jr this morning on why he should publish his emails (i.e with us). Two hours later, does it himself," wrote Assange, linking to the full email chain document.
A few minutes later, Assange tweeted the following explanation over three tweets:
I argued that his enemies have it--so why not the public? His enemies will just milk isolated phrases for weeks or months with their own context, spin and according to their own strategic timetable
