Ex-Obama aide: Trump's N. Korea threat 'can only be interpreted' as nuclear attack

From The Hill

A former senior White House adviser to President Barack Obama blasted President Trump's latest warning to North Korea on Tuesday, saying it could "only be interpreted" as a nuclear threat.

"Don't gloss over the fact that Trump threatened what can only be interpreted as a nuclear attack on North Korea if Kim Jong-un taunts him," tweeted Dan Pfeiffer, who also served as a former White House communications director.

The tweet came after Trump warned Pyongyang against making continued threats to the U.S., saying it would result in "fire and fury like the world has never seen."
