Trump’s stealth successes, Hillary-bashing still helps & other comments

From the left: Trump’s Quiet Victories
Don’t let President Trump’s lack of legislative victories fool you, says David Graham at The Atlantic: “Other elements of the Trump administration are quietly remaking the nation’s regulatory landscape.” For example, “Border crossings have already plummeted,” seemingly in response to Trump’s rhetoric. His travel ban won a key victory at the Supreme Court. And “he’s filling up lower courts with lifetime appointees.” The Environmental Protection Agency is “working to dismantle Barack Obama’s Clean Power Plan.” And Attorney General Jeff Sessions has “strengthened the federal government’s power of civil-asset forfeiture” and “reversed Obama-era policy by encouraging prosecutors to pursue the harshest sentences for low-level drug offenses.”
